Lipno region is an area surrounding Lake Lipno and upper stream of Vltava along the state borders with Austria and Bavaria. The territory in this regard forms a geomorphologically arranged unit complex forming a natural border micro-region in southern part of Southern Bohemia.

But wait there is more: The ski resort Lipno is located in the South Bohemian Region (Jihočeský kraj) (Czech Republic). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 13.5 km of slopes available. 4 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 710 and 900 m. Lipno is a modern ski resort that offers the highest level of comfort and is especially suitable for families with children, beginners and school groups. The most modern children’s ski area in the Czech Republic welcomes all children.
